Joni is a Nursing Clinical Analyst with the Nursing Informatics team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. Her team focuses on the configuration, optimization, and support of the electronic medication administration record, barcode medication administration, and point of care devices. She is a member of the PNANY chapter, PNAA Nursing Informatics Significant Interest Group, and the Layout Artist of PNAA’s National Newsletter, “inside PNAA”. Joni has practiced as a Critical Care nurse, specializing in the care of the cardiac patient population. She has worked in cardiac units of New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell and in St. Joseph’s Hospital in NJ. Joni received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Paterson University and her Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from New York University. Joni has also volunteered as a nurse abroad and helped to provide medical clinics in the Amazon Jungle.
