Leadership & Volunteerism in the “ New Normal”

Volunteerism is a voluntary, deliberate service provided to others over time by persons who freely chooses to help without any expectation of payment or other compensation. This volunteer behavior must include service work, not simply a donation of money or goods. Volunteering is a challenging and rewarding experience for many health care providers. This brief presentation will describe the characteristics of a good versus a great volunteer, discuss leadership qualities of volunteerism and how it impacts the current Covid-19 pandemic.
